Toshiba’s vertical solid shaft thrust motors are built with the petrochemical and material processing industries in mind. Motors are built from 15HP through 250HP, 1200RPM to 3600RPM, 460 or 575 volt, in normal (HP) and medium (LP) thrust designs, in frame sizes from 250LP/HP through 440LP/HP. Motors are available in standard and premium efficiencies and are all cast iron construction. MTX NEMA 3R Outdoor Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drive
Toshiba proudly introduces the MTX NEMA 3R Outdoor Medium Voltage ASD. The MTX is the world's first ASD specifically designed for outdoor mounting in remote applications or applications where a building does not exist. It features an innovative enclosure design and power section topology that is unprecedented in the medium voltage ASD arena. The MTX is two enclosure types married together. The transformer section is convection cooled. There are no moving parts, and heat is eliminated through passive vents at the top of the drive. The inverter section is forced cooled. Power modules are designed with the heat sinks out-the-back to send waste heat to the atmosphere. The interior of the inverter section is cooled using plate-type heat exchanger(s) so it remains cool and clean without introducing outside air. The new topology is a logical progression of the proven T300MVi design in a UL Raintight enclosure. E34 Corrosion Resistant Pushbutton
The E34 pushbutton utilizes the same construction as the 10250T heavy-duty oiltight pushbuttons. The operators are identical in appearance save for the E34's special thermoset cathodic epoxy coating. The coating gives the E34 its unique flat black appearance which differentiates it from the chrome plating of the 10250T line. All operators are rated 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, and 13 and meet IEC 947-1 IP66 standards. The cathodic coating also meets FDA 3A sanitary chemical resistance requirements.

Installation Instructions
- Remove original fan cover from motor.
- Remove snap ring on NDE, and remove original fan.
- Install supplied stub shaft using supplied key, and set screws.
- Apply Loctite 242 to threads of set screws and install.
- Install supplied fan on the stub shaft. It should be heated with either a heat gun or in hot water prior to installation to prevent cracking or other damage. Push fan on until it covers the knurled section of the stub shaft.
- Remove brake from housing. Make sure you read the brake installation sheet from Stearns. If you remove the support plate assembly without manually releasing the brake [keeping it released until it is mounted back in place again] it will disable the brake.
- Install adapter housing, where the old fan cover was, using non-marring type hammer and supplied bolts.
- Install brake block [spline] on stub shaft using careful measurement so it engages all brake pads but doesn't rub on the internal parts of the brake.
- Re-install the brake on the housing, being careful not to release the brake until it is fully assembled.
- Test manual release of brake after fully assembled for smooth rotation of assembly.
- Connect brake to nameplate voltage and check electrical operation.

The G9000 series UPS is available in capacities of 80, 100, 160, and 225 KVA and comes with an industry-leading three-year onsite warranty. It is designed for stand-alone or parallel use in up to four-unit configurations without requiring the use of a special switchgear cabinet.
Using the new Toshiba IGBT technology in the rectifier/converter, DC/DC chopper, and the inverter sections of the UPS, the G9000's double-conversion topology provides an AC/DC/AC efficiency of 96.5% at loads from 50% to 100%. Even at 20% loading, the efficiency remains greater than 94%. This is 10% to 20% better than current industry systems, making the G9000 excellent for N+1 parallel systems where loads are typically 30-40%.

We stock Toshiba vacuum contactors up to 400A. Although these are rated for Medium Voltage, we often use them on 460/600V systems because they provide robust service for high duty cycle applications or projects where contaminants are present in the environment.
We've also been very successful at extending the service life of older medium voltage equipment by installing Toshiba vacuum products and modernizing the control devices.
